Recipe of the Week / Month

Continued permanent fixture on my blog.  I’ll try to post a new recipe every week, but it might stretch out to a monthly thing.  Some will be my own, but some will be from my favorite chefs.

I love Fish Tacos.  Great summer meal and very easy to make.  Here’s an easy and tasty version from Average Betty for brilliant fish tacos.  Two caveats: First, it you really don’t want to go through the trouble of breading and frying the fish, just get the frozen breaded kind…not quite as good, but I won’t tell anyone.  Second, for a spicier white sauce, add a little bit of the juice from a can of chipotle peppers.  That will make you lick your lips!

Wonderful information. Because I don’t eat fried food I don’ t have the utensils to make it. When I decide to cheat a little and go for the fried chicken I try to get it from the best. There is nothing like good fried chicken

Oh man…it is soooo good though. So rich that you should only have one piece. But you don’t. You have two or three. My problem was the temperature regulation for the oil since I don’t have a deep fryer. You really have to play with the gas to keep a constant temperature.
