I trained at Georgetown University School of Medicine and then did my Internship and Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Currently, I practice as a Hospitalist at UPMC in Pittsburgh. People often ask me what that means. Essentially it means that I see adult patients with medical problems and diseases strictly in the inpatient setting. I do not do any outpatient or clinic work. I also am involved with the teaching of medical students and residents, and run our medical consult service.
I like to say that I do what House does, except without the limp or narcotic addiction.
